Inspired by the meaning of tabula rasa — “blank slate” — our practice embraces the idea that each person has the capacity to move forward, develop insight, and create meaningful change through experience, support, and understanding.
Led by registered psychologist Alaina Westaway, Tabula Rasa Psychology provides compassionate, evidence-based psychological support for individuals aged 16 years and over. With more than 30 years of experience in the mental health field, Alaina offers a warm, practical, and non-judgemental approach tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals.

We support clients experiencing a range of mental health challenges, including trauma, anxiety, depression, addiction, and life stressors. Our therapeutic approach is collaborative and client-focused, drawing on proven therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), trauma-informed therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy.

We welcomes self-referrals as well as clients accessing support through Medicare, NDIS, WorkCover, and other approved funding pathways.
